Terms of Service

Last updated . These terms describe the website at timebranch.app and the Windows app being prepared for release. They are not legal advice.

The website

This website describes TimeBranch. It does not sell a subscription, does not open an account, and does not currently offer a download. Reading it does not by itself give you a copy of the app.

The app

TimeBranch is a Windows desktop calendar and visual daily planner. A Windows release is being prepared and is not yet published. An iOS version is planned and is not available. Features can change before either release.

When a Windows build is published, it is a local application. It is not a hosted TimeBranch account. If you connect Google Calendar, you use your own Google account, and Google's terms apply to that account.

Your calendar

Creating, editing, or deleting an event in the app is sent to Google Calendar when you take that action and Google accepts it. You are responsible for the changes you make to calendars you can edit. Disconnecting the app removes the saved sign-in from that computer. How local files and Google access are removed is described in the Privacy Policy.

Use of the site

Use this website for its public pages. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for access you were not given, or present it as an official download location while no download is published. Use of Google Calendar also remains subject to Google's terms.

The name and the pages

The TimeBranch name, the text on this site, and the layout of these pages are reserved by their owner. Nothing here grants a trademark, and these terms do not claim that a trademark is registered.

Availability

The site and, once it exists, the app may be updated, paused, or withdrawn. A published build can stop working with Google if Google changes its APIs or if access is revoked. Sample events shown before you connect Google are part of the program, not a promise of particular content.

Warranty

The website and any later app are made available as they are, without a promised warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted syncing, or error-free operation, to the extent a disclaimer of that kind is allowed where you live. Some places do not allow a broad disclaimer. Those rules win where they apply.

Liability

These terms do not set a money limit and do not name a company. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not undertaking liability here for lost data, missed reminders, or indirect loss arising from the site or the app. Calendar events remain in Google Calendar according to Google's service, except where you delete them. Local law may refuse this kind of limit, especially for harm that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms do not specify a governing law, a court, or a dispute process.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page will change with them. A later published app may ask you to accept a later set of terms. These terms do not describe that prompt, because it does not exist yet.
